Hi Mr. Smith!
I don't want to burden you with questions about biology while you are struggling to be cured of the evil pneumonia and flu virus.
Instead, I just wanted to say
HOPE YOU GET WELL SOON! (because we are ALL lost about photosynthesis and cellular respiration without you explaining it. Or at least I am.)
Happy days!

No worries Lidia. Keep doing your best by reading the text. I will be back 100% on monday, well mentally at least hopefully my lungs and stomach will join me. I plan on going over all the work on monday and tuesday and the unit test will most likely be on wed or thurs. Thanks for the well wishes. I miss all of you too, being at home alone and sick really bites! But if you need some help don't hesitate to ask here on the blog. I will get to it as I try to check it while I am up and awake for a few hours.

Hey Mr.Smith, was wondering if we will need to know the steps of translation. Also some of the handouts that you gave us for homework I could not find the answers so if you could go over them when you come back that would be awesome!!! Get Better

HEllo everyone. Yes I will be going over the material that you may be a little fuzzy on. Also regarding those 49 questions NO they are not due Monday they are there to help you understand the processes of cellular respiration.

i have a question about photosynthesis. for the light dependent reaction, does it occur in the thylakoid, which is found in the chloroplast, and is the stacks of thylakoid is called grana. and is chlorophyll then found in the thylakoid???
i am a little lost about the locations of these things!!

Yes Miriam, the chlorophyl are found in the thylakoid membranes, multiple thylakoids stacked ontop one another are called grana. The cellular goo that surrounds the grana is called the stroma.

Hey Mr. Smith I was wondering if on the test you will give us the diagram and we describe it or will we need to describe it from scratch? (ex: lysosomal digestion, or protein synthesis)thanks

I think that you should be able to describe how it works.
